What Great Educators Do Differently
What are the specific qualities and practices of great teachers that elevate them above the rest? This workshop reveals what the most effective teachers do differently than their colleagues. Participants will focus on what the most successful educators do...that others do not.  Everyone will leave knowing what great educators do differently, why they make them more effective, and how to immediately implement each of these into your own classrooms and schools.

Teacher Training on the 5E Model
Mizzou Academy curriculum is built on the 5E instructional model to foster student inquiry. The 5Es are: engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate. In this session, we’ll explore this model as a means to put students at the center of the learning process and give you creative flexibility in your classroom. Together, we’ll examine how to build on Mizzou Academy’s curriculum and share best practices in cultivating a dynamic classroom experience.  We will also take a close look at our new Teacher Edition (TE) guide and go over how this resource can help you facilitate inquiry-based learning in your classrooms.

  • How can we lead from a place of integrity?
This session includes philosophy, dialogue, and practical strategies for supporting students and teachers with pacing, assessment, and tracking progress.
